The Challenge
Prior to the emergence of Internet based services such
as digital music sales and Voice over Internet,
telecommunications companies relied on a single set of

ISPs can instantly offer Voice over Internet (VoIP)

service. An existing traditional telephone
company can use Petunia to interface with multiple
switches and multiple types of switches such as NACT and
Lucent Excel switches, or simply add VoIP gateways to

strength from its ability to combine the traditional
telephone services with state-of-the-art Internet based
voice and fax services and eCommerce under a single

application which runs on Microsoft Windows Advanced Server
(TM) and

based store fronts as well as inventory management and billing on the back-end. Its rate
and route management engine along with a powerful

volume "anything" detail records (ADR). Invoicing,

Communication Service Providers (CSP) over night. Thanks to the
